Advanced Manual Handling Workshop – Real-World Complex Care Scenarios
Handling patients in confined spaces comes with unique challenges—navigating narrow doorways, managing bathroom falls, working in tight bedrooms, and ensuring safe bed-to-chair transfers. These are high-risk scenarios that demand precision, skill, and the confidence to adapt.
Our advanced study/workshop day is designed to push the boundaries of manual handling, giving you the freedom to test, refine, and enhance techniques in a fully simulated environment. Using weighted mannequins, you’ll explore methods in a hands-on, controlled setting, working alongside me—bringing 18 years of experience across NHS trusts and insight into equipment capability and product design.

At Jeenie, we open our simulation centre to those who need something more personalised. Whether you’re part of a moving and handling team, a community care provider, social worker, trainer, or equipment supplier – we can create a practical session around your needs. You’ll have full access to our range of confined-space environments, including:
