Guidance for movement. Confidence in support.

Guidie helps carers offer guidance and reassurance during walking, sitting to standing and everyday mobilisation. It is designed for people with core stability who can actively participate and bear weight as required for the movement.

Open straps. A thoughtful difference.

Unlike conventional belts with closed loop handles, Guidie features open straps with free ends. The carer holds the straps without placing their hands inside a loop, avoiding the enclosed hand position that can lead to entrapment if the person unexpectedly loses balance.

The open design allows the straps to slide through the carer’s hands as the person moves, providing a point of contact for guidance without a closed handle securing the hand to the belt.

Support for everyday movement

Guidie can assist with walking, chair transfers and general mobilisation. It can also provide guidance alongside suitable floor recovery equipment, where permitted by both products’ instructions and an individual assessment.

Designed for guidance

Guidie must not be used to lift, suspend or catch a falling person, or support their full body weight. Use must follow the person’s moving and handling assessment, the product instructions and the carer’s training.
